This morning as I scoured the web for content, I was confronted with the following headline from the New York Post: “Illegal migrant from Lebanon caught at border admitted he’s a Hezbollah terrorist hoping ‘to make a bomb’ — and was headed for NY“
What I wasn’t surprised with is the fact that none of the mainstream press including CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, WAPO, or ABC had picked up the story. Later today, perhaps one or two of them may think it important enough to share with their audience, but I won’t hold my breath.
Sadly, we have no credible evidence that any of our news agencies can be trusted to report the news in an unbiased manner. Too busy putting their handlers’ spin on the version of the “truth” they wish to present to the public, they fail in the prime duty of their chosen vocation and should never be considered journalists.
If you want truth, you won’t find it on any of the media outlets as they only consider the “news that fits”. It is no wonder that more and more people are turning to social media and alternative news sources, including those abroad, for information. Only idiots would continue to subject themselves to the lies the mainstream press feeds them.
Don’t think for a moment that conservative media is any better. There is no “Fair and Balanced” on either side, only an agenda. Even if the likes of New York Post, Fox News, Newsmax, and others report from a slightly more unbiased position, their emphasis in reporting clearly has an objective to sway their audience to their view.
The story of Basel Bassel Ebbadi should be important to all Americans. The fact that this Hezbolla terrorist was caught, while attempting to enter our country near El Paso, Texas on March 9th illegally, should be alarming to anyone. Telling CBP officials during interrogation that he was here to “try and make a bomb” according to a document obtained from Customs and Border Patrol by the New York Post. His destination was New York and I am sure that he had no nefarious intentions.
In this election cycle, the Biden Border Crisis is a major concern to a majority of American citizens, along with crime, inflation, and our crumbling infrastructure. The mainstream press will attempt to bury incidents such as this because it doesn’t fit their narrative that all of these illegal aliens are flooding into our country seeking a better way of life.
A country without borders is no country at all.
